Durable
No layers, no delamination.
Circular
Produce. Use. Recycle.

Made in Germany for Europe.
PRODUCTION & RECYCLING
Our boards are built from mono-material EPP and designed without bonded layers. This supports durability in daily use and enables material recovery at end-of-life.
Mono-material construction
Expanded polypropylene forms the core structure of the board, avoiding mixed bonded layers that are difficult to separate.
Built for repeated use
The construction is designed for surf schools, camps and high-frequency operations where boards are handled and used every day.
Material recovery
At end-of-life, returned boards are processed through recycling partners and routed back into the material stream here in Europe. Old boards become new boards.
DELIVERY
& RETURN
We organise delivery and return once or twice a year through bundled routes. You receive new boards and hand back end-of-life boards upon delivery.
Together we create the loop!
Delivery
New boards are delivered through planned routes once or twice a year, depending on location and fleet needs.
Return
End-of-life boards are handed back when new boards arrive, reducing additional logistics for the operator.
Handling
Dead Bird coordinates the whole process so surfschool operators can keep their fleet moving without worrying about disposal themselves.
MATERIAL & MAINTENACE
We use EPP as a main element for our surfboard. This switch to a mono material aproach allows us to make this circular surfboard system possible. Another benefit with the monomaterial aproach is the elimination of layers and therefore a massiv reduction in maintenace. No delamination means longer lifespan.
